1. Click on Windows icon in the bottom (start).Click on E-mail (Windows Mail). |
2. If you are running Windows Mail for the first time, you can start from step 6, if not follow the instruction from step3. |
3. Click on the Tools menu and then click on Accounts... |
4. On the window that appears click on the Add... button. |
5. On the next screen, ensure E-mail Account is highlighted then click Next. |
6. Enter your name and click Next. |
7. Enter your email address (your username@introport.ca ) and click Next. |
8. On the next screen select/fill
in the following: 1) Incoming e-mail server type, click on the down arrow and select pop3. 2) Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP) server should be mail.introport.ca 3) Outgoing e-mail server (SMTP) name should be mail.introport.ca 4) Ensure there is no check mark in the box before Outgoing server requires authentication. |
5) When completed, click Next. |
9. on the next screen select/fill
in the following: a) Type your username (first part of your email address before @ sign) in the Email username box b) Enter your password in the password box |
c) click Next. |
10. On the final screen click Finish and then click Close on the remaining screen. |
