Mac OSX mail configuration
  1. To configure mail for Mac OSX open up your mail program then click on mail and then on Preferences
  2. Then Click on Add account to create a new e-mail account
  3. Then fill in the information as follows:
    E-mail address: your new POP email address
    Example:
    Your username@introport.ca

    Full Name: your name as you wish for it to appear in the from field of your emails
    Host Name: mail.introport.ca
    User Name: your username is the beginning of your e-mail address, so for example jonhdoe@introport username would be johndoe.
    Password: your selected password for your new e-mail account
    SMTP Server: mail.introport.ca
    If Use authentication when sending mail is checked please click on it to remove the X.

  4. Click OK to save the information and exit the mail preferences page.
